Our advisory board consists of experienced executives with outstanding business and consulting experience and who play the role of advisors to the Leadership team in terms of consulting practices and business approach, as well as references for selected clients.

Jan I. Carlsson, Advisory Board Member

After graduating with a Masters degree in Political Science and completing university studies in Business Administration and Behavioural Sciences, Jan I. Carlsson joined the Unilever Group in Sweden in 1968. During his 15 years with Unilever he held several positions in personnel in the Group’s operating companies at a national and international level.In 1972 and 1973 he worked on remuneration and company structure assignments at the Unilever Head Office in London. Between 1973 and 1981 he was Personnel Director of a Unilever Food Company in Sweden, and from 1979 was also its Technical Director. From 1981 to 1983 he was the National Personnel Director for Unilever in Sweden. In 1983 he joined the Tetra Pak Group as Senior Vice President Personnel and became a member of the Corporate Group Management Team, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.Read More…

Bill Fischer is a Professor at IMD where he focuses his attention on corporate strategy, the practice of successful innovation, and the effective expression of talent in organizations where expertise is the predominant strategic asset. He also authors a regular column for Forbes.com entitled “The Ideas Business.”An engineer by training, American by citizenship, he has lived much of his life in Asia and Europe. Bill co-founded and now co-directs the IMD program on Driving Strategic Innovation, in cooperation with the Sloan School of Management at MIT.Read More…

Anita Mehra, Advisory Board Member

Anita Mehra is the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Dubai Airports – the entity that owns and manages the operation and development of both of Dubai’s airports – Dubai International and Dubai World Central, slated to become the largest airport in the world.In 1996 Anita was seconded from Dubai Duty Free to set up the Marketing and Corporate Communications Division of the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, the government entity which owned Dubai International Airport and Dubai Duty Free. She headed this division until 2007 when the newly restructured Dubai Airports was created and she was appointed Vice President-Marketing and Corporate Communications for Dubai Airports. Read More…

Antonio Vegezzi, Advisory Board Member

Antonio Vegezzi graduated from the University of Geneva and the Università Cattolica of Milan. After having gained experience in financial services, he joined the Capital Group, one of the largest global asset managers, where he took on the responsibilities of President of the Swiss subsidiary (Capital international SA) and, later on, of member of the firm’s Los angeles based Management Committee and of the Board of Directors.He also served two terms (until December 2010) as a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, the supervisory body of the IASB (International Accounting Standards Board), the international organization that sets global standards for financial reporting.
