A Global retail player, in the apparel & clothes business, was under-going a major business transformation to remain competitive. HR was a major part of this transformation and had to implement new strategies, processes, policies, systems as well as re-organising itself.

Situation:

A Global leading retail player, in the apparel & clothes business, was under-going a major business transformation to remain competitive. HR was a major part of this transformation and had to implement new strategies, processes, policies, systems as well as re-organising itself.

Solution:

Optimis engaged as leading the HR Transformation programme for 18 months from a process, systems and analytics perspective. A full team was managed to run this programme and reviewing HR administration, Performance Mgt, Talent Mgt, Recruitment in 26 countries, for about 35’000 employees. The programme included project management, key stakeholders interviews, policy development, system (SAP/SuccessFactors) setup/testing, training HR and employees as well as putting an operational team in place to manage the platform and support employees.

Results:
The following was designed, developed and implemented:
– New Recruitment policy, including process, selection tools etc.
– New Talent Mgt framework/process
– Revised Performance Mgt and People Development process
– HR administration processes
– People analytics framework and several key Dashboards
– New HR operating model
– SAP/Successfactors modules: Talent, Performance, Recruitment, Employee Central for 26 countries, with interfaces to local payroll
